A brand new 3G pitch will be installed at Llanidloes Sports Centre next week. Powys County Council and Freedom Leisure have announced that work to replace the outdated sports pitch will be completed by July. Cllr Rachel Powell, Cabinet Member for Young People, Culture and Leisure, said it was great news for the sporting community in Llanidloes. Powys County Council added that the 3G pitch project has been made possible with support from Freedom Leisure and Njord Wind Developments, the developers of the Bryn Blaen Wind Farm.
