The South Pacific Boxing Promotions (SPBP) expects boxers to show professionalism by honouring their contracts for the May 22 program which has now been postponed to July following the border lockdown because of the COVID-19 community cases.
The SPBP has already invested around $10,000 in the program which will feature two Fijian title bouts at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
SPBP promoter Mukesh ‘Fredy’ Chand said they had already paid the deposit for the venue to the Nadi Town Council and paid the deposit for Boxing Commission of Fiji for sanctioning the program.
