Upon the recommendation of Mayor Greg Krauza and Councilman Don Brisky, the Dunkirk Common Council rejected a proposal to build single-family townhouses on land now used for the Pangolin Street ball diamond. At the same time, however, the council made it clear the city plans to pursue some sort of development for that land in the future. The current proposal was rejected because it was felt 26 units were too many for that site.
