Joyce Grace Hart Dengler passed away on Jan. 8, 2021. Joyce was the loving wife of Gerald James (Jim) Dengler, and mother of Mary (William) Dengler-Frey of Durango Colo., Paul (Gina) Dengler of Lehigh Acres, Fla., Kurt (Lisa) Dengler of Bel Air, Md., and Matthew (Patricia) Dengler of New Milford, Conn.
Joyce was born in Wayland, N.Y., to John and Anna (Schwartz) Hart on April 13, 1931. She is predeceased by siblings: Doris and Ronald Hart.
Joyce attended Catholic School in Wayland, and graduated high school in 1949. She lived in Rochester, N.Y., for many years and worked for Xerox Corporation. She met the love of her life, James Dengler, and they were married on April 22, 1961. Although her hands were full raising four children, she diligently maintained her faith, and was a longtime member of St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Fredonia, where she also served as an extraordinary minister.
