The Real Estate, Architecture & Engineering Awards is LIBN’s annual program saluting top projects, deals, and movers and shakers in the real estate, architecture and engineering communities. The Brookhaven IDA, under the leadership of Frederick C. Braun III, Chairman, and Board Members Frank Trotta, Asst. Treasurer; Gary Pollakusky, Asst. Secretary; Felix J. Braun III and members of the Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency announced a package of incentives for Port Jefferson Crossing, a $24 million project that will construct 45 units of residential workforce housing in the heart of Port Jefferson. The residential units will be located at 1609-1615 Main Street in Port Jefferson, currently the site of two vacant buildings. The existing buildings will be demolished to make room for 45 units of workforce housing and 3,100 square feet of commercial space that will be located on the ground level.
