Deputies injured after chasing suspects who fled during traffic stop

CRAWFORD COUNTY, MI A pair of police deputies suffered minor injuries while chasing down a pair of suspects who fled from a traffic stop Tuesday night. According to Up North Live, the officers received non-life threatening injuries, but no other details were shared.
The incident began around 9:26 p.m. when deputies with the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office attempted to pull over a vehicle on North Old 27 in Frederic Township for operating in the middle of the road. The driver however, did not pull over and eventually fled the car with two other passengers.

Deputies tried to stop a side-by-side Tuesday night on North Old 27 in Frederic Township, but the driver took off.
Deputies chased the side-by-side to a home in Grayling Township and arrested the driver.
Police later tracked down one of the passengers, who they say ran to a nearby woods. Officers arrested him using a bean bag round and a state police K-9 after he refused to drop the weapon.
Two officers got hurt in the process and were treated for their injuries.
