Frede Hosillos is offering a fitness clinic at the Crook County High School track beginning this month, which will help participants experience a fitter, healthier and more balanced life
After a long year of the pandemic blues, a group of Prineville walkers and joggers could be seen circling the track at the Ward Rhoden Stadium on Saturday morning. We train finishers, not racers, is the theme of the fitness clinic. Leading this group of health enthusiasts is 81-year-old Fred Hosillos. Make it fun, commented Hosillos lightheartedly. It s free, and I will have to do it anyway, whether you come or not I will have to walk, jog, run.

In Jewish tradition, the Torah (or Law) contained 613 commandments. This is, of course, child s play compared to something like the U.S. tax code, but it was a weighty amount of rules, nonetheless. With so many, it would be to anyone s benefit to understand which are the most important.
Jesus answers the man with a stunning summary of Jewish Law: The most important is, Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these. (Mark 12:29-31)
