SAXTON — Saxton Borough Council was quizzed Monday night by a resident asking why she was the first targeted by the borough’s recently adopted junk car ordinance.
Discussion centering around road and bridge maintenance matters highlighted the April session of the Liberty Township Board of Supervisors held recently in the township municipal building in East Saxton.
Saxton Borough Council will be holding a special meeting before the end of April to fill a vacancy created by the recent resignation of former borough mayor Alan Smith.
SAXTON — Saxton Borough Council agreed Monday evening to hire Blair County attorney Shawn Sullivan as the borough’s new solicitor. Sullivan is a partner with the law firm of Haberstroh,
