Alarm clocks went off earlier than usual for many Calgarians on Friday morning. The promise of good coffee brought dozens to Fratello Coffee Roasters in the city’s southeast for the start of CBC Calgary’s annual holiday fundraiser.
The Calgary Food Bank should be able to feed a lot more people with the 12,700 pounds (5,760 kilograms) of food it can buy with the $1,300,890 raised through the CBC Calgary Food Bank Drive 2021.

Not even a worldwide pandemic could stand in the way as Albertans answered the call to make the season kind and delivered big time for CBC Calgary’s 35th annual campaign for the Calgary Food Bank.
