Breast Cancer Network Australia
The annual Pink Lady match will be a clash between traditional rivals Melbourne and Hawthorn this Saturday 17th July at the MCG.
Alongside the game will be Breast Cancer Network Australia’s iconic Field of Women, which will happen virtually this year due to COVID restrictions.
Instead of gathering in pink and blue ponchos on the hallowed turf of the G, Australians, no matter where they live, can stand on the G virtually. Participants can buy their virtual place inside the Pink Lady and leave a message of support or dedication to someone affected by breast cancer.

This year’s Pink Lady Match is personal for Melbourne players Fraser Rosman and Oskar Baker, given their mums Trudy and Trudie were diagnosed with breast cancer.
Trudy and Fraser have been a team of two for a long time and last year when Trudy was diagnosed with breast cancer, the pair knew they needed a COVID game-plan.
Tapping into BCNA’s online resources for information and support, Trudy went to chemotherapy alone while Fraser continued his Year 12 studies and trained at night to reduce exposure to other people when his mum’s immunity was compromised.
