Happy birthday to my niece, Janelle. She starts off the February birthday frenzy that our two families experience that will include seven birthdays overall. Even though the arena is not the same as it was last year at this time, there is still some activity. Unity Minor Hockey president, Dan Feser, says he is proud of how players have persevered and coaches have continued to make hockey fun and engaging for the participants. There is also public skating and shinny time available but must be booked through the online booking system. Arena staff continue to provide a fresh facelift to the inside with paint projects and other minor fine tuning.
