The victim, a 79-year-old, called Triple Zero (000) and before police arrived, he and his neighbour, a 53-year-old man, confronted the alleged offender in the driveway of the property. Police arrived shortly after and arrested a 44-year-old Frankston South man. A search of the Nissan located a loaded 12-gauge shotgun, a compound bow, ammunition and a large quantity of what police will allege is stolen property.

Police will allege the man busted into the store about 11pm before cooking himself a meat feast and swiping $410 cash and a Holden car key, which was later found a few hundred metres down the road.
