(WYFF) - An Erskine College student died in a boating accident on Lake Secession. It happened Friday at 11:41 p.m. while two students were fishing. Jack Franklin-Lee Hunt, 18, of Townville was driving the boat when debris popped out of the water and hit him as he heading back to the landing dock, the coroner said. Hunt was a member of the Erskine fishing team, officials said. Abbeville County coroner Dr. Mark Dorn has ruled Hunt’s death accidental.
