Big bucks for micheladas
Lone Star Beer announced its first ever michelada making contest in honor of Fiesta s return to San Antonio. It s pretty simple: those (of drinking age, please) are asked to whip up an original michelada recipe to be entered using the company s Mexican-style brew, Rio Jade.
The contest, dubbed Riochelada, will be judged at an uber exclusive event (the location hasn t been announced) in San Antonio on June 17.
But don t get too tipsy in the kitchen participants have to register their creations online, post a picture of it on their Instagram account, and tag @lonestarbeer and use hashtags #riochelada, #riojade, and #contest.
