Lake Park High School Theatre Camp is putting on "Beauty and the Beast Jr." on Thursday, July 21 "It s great to see the summer musical continue to grow from its start six years ago with Seussical, followed by Willy Wonka, Shrek, and now, after a two-year hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, Beauty and the Beast ," said director Sara Keith.
The annual Rose Ambassador Scholarship Event returns rebranded in 2022 with a special centennial celebration theme. It offers local high school students an opportunity to compete for college scholarships totaling more than $4,200.
