Despite the coronavirus pandemic, thousands of Acadiana residents packed local shopping centers and stores to buy last minute Christmas presents.
Last minute Christmas shoppers were in full swing at the Acadiana Mall. Despite the pandemic theyâre making sure to cross off everything on their list and are getting a bit of everything for their families.
âWe eat a lot of gumbo and we don t have enough gumbo bowls and plates so they have a real nice selection over here,â said shopper Frank Vacque.
