Dozens gathered at Brandon's Dinsdale Park releasing flower petals and offering prayers to honour MMIWG on the National Day of Action in honour of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, two-spirit and gender-diverse people Wednesday.
The sacrifices made by First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans were honoured during an Indigenous Veterans Day gathering hosted by the Manitoba Métis Federation at the Royal Canadian Aviation Museum of Western Canada on Tuesday.
