president obama unveils a plan that could help thousands of homeowners. good morning. i m dave clark. i m tori campbell. a 55-year-old man was hadl was paddling near hunters point with when the kayak flipped over. here s more. reporter: there s a crew out there searching the waters trying to find tom. they are still working, hoping for a positive result. let s take a live look at chopper 2. they ve been at it all night long. it s been going on 15 hours since tom s kayak hit the wake of a barge and flipped over. the coast guard says even on the nicest afternoon with calm watt with calm waters, it can still be dangerous. you need to wear life jackets, have proper radios and just be vigilant. reporter: the coast guard expects help out here later this morning and they will reassess search efforts at daylight. right now, the temperature is in the low 60s in the water. there is always the fear of hypothermia, especially given how long he s been out there. back to yo
