She told Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview that Ransford Nyarko has been granted bail and asked to report on Wednesday with the group which accompanied him in the assault.
The DCE reportedly led a group to attack General/Corporal, Frank Mensah of Ochiso Police Station near Ajumako for allegedly disrespecting him.
According to the Central Regional Minister, the DCE told him in a conversation that he didn t attack the officer personally but admitted leading the group.
