Max Butterbrodt launches campaign for North Andover Housing Authority

Wicked Local Max Butterbrodt wants to see the town of North Andover better manage its affordable housing funds and planning. So he’s running for a seat on the North Andover Housing Authority to replace outgoing member Frank McCarty. “We can do more,” Butterbrodt said. “The housing authority has the funds and should accept the mandate to make sure all of our community’s elderly and disabled have safe and affordable housing.” Butterbrodt, 25, works for with Dalton & Finegold law firm in Andover and a member of the Suffolk University Housing Discrimination Clinic in Boston. Butterbrodt says he’s hoping to use his experience fighting against housing discrimination and for fair housing policy to make the North Andover Housing Authority which decides how state and federal funds are used in town to provide affordable living and promote economic opportunity better address the town’s housing needs.
