The results are in and incumbent Commissioners Richard Thompson and Jeffrey Jacobs have won Henlopen Acres' annual municipal election that took place Saturday, Aug. 27. Thompson received 100 votes - 68 the day of; 32 absentee. Jacobs received 98.
After not having an election for the previous decade, Henlopen Acres will have an election for the second straight year. The filing deadline for the town’s 2022 municipal election passed July 8, and three people have filed for two seats – incumbent.
