Frank Betteridge was found alight after being stabbed to death A MAN accused of murdering a vulnerable alcoholic has admitted ‘seeing red’ and stabbing him four times in the neck before pouring brandy on his body and setting alight. Anthony Hart told Teesside Crown Court how he reacted angrily when he awoke in Frank Betteridge’s home believing the 62-year-old had been touching his genitals. He said he grabbed a knife which they had been using to cut up cannabis and plunged it into his neck, severing the main artery.
