The recent Maritime Standard Tanker Conference 2022 was marked by a broad consensus that prospects for the tanker shipping sector are as optimistic as they have been for many years.
Photo: V.Group Bjoern Sprotte is moving from OSM Maritime Group to V.Group taking over the role of ceo of ship management.
Sprotte, who was ceo of OSM, replaces Franck Kayser as ceo of the world’s largest ship management operation. He will be based in Hamburg and report directly to René Kofod-Olsen, ceo of V.Group.
Kayser meanwhile will be with remaining with V.Group having requested a change in responsibilities and will head up its activities in Denmark.
Kofod-Olsen said: “I am delighted to welcome Bjoern to V.Group. He has an extensive depth and breadth of experience in the maritime industry and possesses the commercial, technical and operational skills and knowledge to deliver sustainable benefits to our customers.
