Paul Rudolph, Victor Lundy, Dwight James Baum, M. Leo Elliott and Addison Mizner are among the state’s architectural legends who have at least two buildings on the list.
But, as the years roll by, the names and contributions of notable architects of yesteryear tend to fade into the pages of history.
Francis J. Kennard is one such designer.
Already on the FBIL list for his Gasparilla Inn in Boca Grande and Floridan Hotel in Tampa, Kennard is saluted again this week for his Lee County Courthouse.
