One of the many victims of the deep freeze crippling Texas is getting some help from the San Francisco Zoo.
Icy waters along the Gulf Coast of Texas are cold stunning sea turtles, leaving them unable to move, stranded and at risk of drowning.
This week, more than 2,600 turtles were rescued around South Padre Island, the barrier island near the Mexico border.
CNN reported that on Wednesday, Texas Game Wardens rescued at least 141 turtles from the area, leaving turtles of all sizes rested on the deck of its large rescue vessel awaiting transfer to nearby facilities.
