Parking spaces empty, a sign that says social distancing and the shelterinplace are being taken seriously, but the San Raphael Police officers are looking to intervene. This is the second of two recent cases involving people believed to have disapeered while hiking. Bob redell joined us live in marin county with details on the man that was found and the couple still missing. Reporter with regard to the man that was found according to the photographer who shot his rescue, he is alive but barely conscious. We have no update. His name is Robert Bennett and 76 years old. Rescuers found him around 11 30 last night and you should be able to see it on video. After he disappeared on monday afternoon while hiking in unincorporated marin county they extricated him and sent him to the hospital. They did find his vehicle at the head of the valley stone trail which helped locate him and in the picture, tweeted out by the marin county sheriffs office, two k9s helped locate bennett.

Southbound one as you work your way out of manner, there was a lot of activity on scene. There are some wind advisories in effect for the bay area bridges as well as the bay bridge and the rich rnd san rafael bridge. Lets get to the scene with more on this story. Reporter we are on the southbound side of highway 1 right now which is completely shut down because of a fatal accident at the corner. Just arrived and the scene is quite a mess. You can see some crumpled up vehicles. This was all caused by a wrong way driver who was travelling northbound on the southbound side of highway 1. Chp says at least one person is dead and right now they believe that is the driver of the car who was going the wrong way. As of now, they do not have an estimated time of when the lanes will reopen. This is a dark and winding road, especially in the overnight hours. Chp got the call this morning. They do know how long this will be closed. They are diverting at highway 35 right now.
