The town of danville says the combination of dry conditions and high winds increases the threat of wildfires, so pg e says they will cut off power starting tonight. Town Officials Say the psps event will begin 6 00 and 8 00 p. M. This will affect residents along parts of diablo road in east danville. The power outage cant be avoided but the town wants residents to be prepared. That includes fueling up vehicles, charging mobile devices and have an emergency kit ready which includes batteries, flashlights, cash and a firstaid kit. Also plan for your pets and pg e advises to unplug all electronics. Now, this power outage wont just impact danville but many cities around the bay area. In oakland people have been through this before. Its just more frustration for businesses already struggling because of covid19. I dont know what to do because my flowers need cooler especially with such hot weather.
