The deployment of the Sinopharm vaccine doses in regions under extreme alert will begin on Tuesday afternoon so that the immunization process can start on Wednesday, February 10, Ministers Claudia Cornejo (Foreign Trade and Tourism) and Alejandro Neyra (Culture) reported on Monday. According to the government officials, the vaccination process will begin in regions under extreme alert: Lima (including Metropolitan Lima and the Constitutional Province of Callao), Ancash, Pasco, Huanuco, Junin, Huancavelica, Ica, Apurimac, and Loreto.  In addition, it was reported that the first region to receive the vaccines is Huanuco, due to the pandemic-related situation.
