The dow had been up about 1. 6 , on pace for its best day of the year, nonetheless up 1. 2 now. 500 up a 10th of a percent, both indexes with record highs. Yesterday,down 1. 3 rebounding nicely today as investors are buying mthe dip on the confidence of the mentality that we have seen some much this year. Take a look at the dow. Something else happening. Earlier, when it was up 1. 6 , and it had been the best day of the year, at this point the secondbest extending all the way back to february. A lot of you have today off maybe youre headed up to the mountains for ski week. The three of us grew up in the bay area so the question is did you guys have ski week text no. In san ramon they do not have that. They are off today but not for the week. Oakland, piedmont, richmond they are all on break. I never had it growing up, usually the week around easter and we were not really a snow family. We did not get up there. We were not either but i married into one. People who live out on the streets. In San Francisco right now, more homeless shelters are opening up to make sure that the cold weather does not turn deadly. Reporter shelters in San Francisco are opening their doors and expanding their hours. This is one of the shelters here take a look and see. We are in street on street where they will open their doors 24 hours a day through wednesday to escape the cold weather. We should bottom out around 37 degrees which is dangerous territory for those in the elements for a long time. Residents are asked to be checking in on neighbors. Older residents need to make sure they are well heated. These people lars are expanding their operations. Any adult who needs their place to occupy any vacant bed facility after 8 pm without a reservation. The United Council of Human Services on jennings will also be open 24 hours a day.
