One month after St. Francis Residential Community in Denville announced that it would close, the religious order that founded it in 1895 has transferred ownership to another nonprofit senior-care organization. Future plans for the property have not been established at this time, wrote Julia Zauner, vice president of marketing for the new owners, New Jersey-based Springpoint.
Springpoint, which operates 10 senior residential care facilities in New Jersey, New York and Delaware, was already assisting with the placement of current St. Francis residents. Their properties include The Oaks at Denville, which sits between St. Francis and Saint Clare s Hospital on Pocono Road.
