Prosecutors and the defense agreed Wednesday that Christian Francis Taele, accused of killing two people in two counties, is competent to stand trial in his Spanish Fork case. He d previously been found competent to stand trial in his Ogden case.
A man already charged with aggravated murder for allegedly killing a stranger in Weber County is now facing a second murder charge in connection with the death of a Spanish Fork man.
