NEWPORT Two artists from Juniata County are among those featured in the sixth annual juried exhibition of the Perry County Council of the Arts, displayed online and at the Veterans Memorial Building, 25 W. Main St., New Bloomfield, through Jan. 22.
This exhibition features outstanding juried artwork in a variety of media, selected by Juror Danny Bracken, exhibitions manager at the Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh.
The first-place inner in the 3D category is Green Colored Pencil Tree by Francis Ranck of Thompsontown.
The first-place painting is Black Throated Green Warbler by Jonathan Wert III of Mifflintown.
Visitors may vote for their favorite work of art to receive the People’s Choice award at the Veterans Building, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., or through the Juried Exhibition photo album on PCCA’s Facebook page. Many of the pieces on display are available for purchase.
