The U.S. Forest Service continues to prescribe burns in the Ozark-St. Francis National Forests. National forest fire managers will conduct a local burn in Stone County on Saturday. One of the newest burns will be in the vicinity of Fifty Six. According to the Forest Service, 2,677 acres will be burned in the Sylamore Ranger District.
