In front of a strong 3000 plus crowd at Townson Oval, traditional rivals Merewether Carlton and the Wanderers took the field honouring the ANZAC Day tradition by contesting the Adam-Halter ANZAC Shield.
It was a well-fought and sometimes fiery clash with 2 red cards handed out to Francis Ieremia and Thomas Newman for throwing punches. The Greens took out the match winning 30-19.
