Semori Wilson, 25, was found fatally shot on Bay Street in Stapleton in May, 2018. His friend, Francis Batama, has been indicted on murder and other charges.

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. Prosecutors allege Francis Batama fatally shot his friend Semori Wilson, 25, three times in the back shortly before midnight on May 10, 2018, in Stapleton.
Batama, 28, was busted five months later and charged with felony counts of murder, manslaughter, criminal weapon possession and criminal firearm possession.
Jail has been the Stapleton resident’s home since his arrest.
