The worldwide phenomenon that is the Jerusalema dance challenge arrived in Enniscorthy last week when staff members in the local Lidl store fully embraced the initiative and showcased their dancing dexterity in a video posted online.
While adhering to social distancing and other health and safety protocols the staff took to the slopes of Vinegar Hill to participate in the dance which also involved members of other Lidl branches around the country.
A spokesperson for Lidl spoke to this newspaper about the challenge and said the staff members were delighted to participate to try and help lift people s spirits.
Lidl s video, which has amassed more than 300,000 views on Facebook, features 10 of the retailer s locations across the entire island of Ireland.
