We believe this reorganization will allow us to serve our brokers at an even greater level. Decentralizing will allow us to have the scale, breadth and capabilities to provide even greater service to our customers.

The change means the company will have four market presidents for the following areas: Denver, Summit County, Eagle County and the Roaring Fork Valley. Earlier this week, Chris Lankhorst was promoted to market president of the Summit County region. According to a news release, Lankhorst has been a top producer in Summit County and “has many years of leadership experience as the branch broker in the company’s Keystone and Breckenridge offices.” The real estate company has 33 offices, including five in Summit County. According to Slifer Smith & Frampton’s first real estate agent, Rod Slifer, the company has grown so much and covers such a wide berth that it needs more focused leadership.

Eagle County real estate buyer profiles evolving

This home in Eagle Ranch is listed by Slifer Smith & Frampton Real Estate and priced at just less than $1.1 million. The home is currently under contract to a local buyer, but an increase in home prices is altering the valley’s traditional buyer profiles. Special to the Daily Eagle County’s torrid real estate market continued into February of this year. As inventory shrinks and prices rise, buyer demographics are evolving. Prices in places have increased dramatically from 2020 to this year. In Eagle, the average single-family home price increased 45% from early 2020. In Gypsum, multi-family units increased a similar amount, 30%. Eagle-based broker Rick Beveridge, owner of Beveridge Real Estate, said homes in the western part of the valley continue to sell quickly.
