through their twitter of donald trump s old tweets. he was criticizing we are losers. all about the fans and all about all sort s of things. that s his first amendment protected right in this country. the framer of the constitution thought it is important to preserve the rights of anyone. the media, people running for office and any american at all to just speak. your criticism of government upon which this country is built is in fact this country is formed out of a criticism government. it is not a bad thing. paving it as right or left wing as you are. painting criticism of the government and the president and the political party and of msnbc and us as bad and unpatriotic is dangerous and wrong. let s move on. a major change is coming to
stake. this country s future to gather intelligence in the future was at stake so we d work that out. there s no other conclusion that the attorney general felt like he couldn t take public that he could see given his level of security clearance. he wants to take it public and he and the president are willing to trash the process to do that. ron klain we shouldn t let it escape attention that the president invoked the word treason to describe former fbi director jim comey, former acting fbi director andrew mccabe and pete strzok. what s that tell you? this week is the anniversary of our framer s gathering to write the constitution. and donald trump decided to crumble up another page of it and throw it away. saying jim comey and other law
we need to train people for different kinds of jobs. and the economy, full employment, what is next is wage inflation and then inflation itself. i mean, rick, you have great first hand stories that you told us before. you employ a lot of people. tell us about what it s like. it s difficult to find anybody that is qualified. i go through ad agencies. i can t get anybody to show up. nobody with sales experience. i have a wholesale art business. i can t find a guy that is a framer. it s very difficult to find anybody. worse than it s been in years past. i can t remember this. overall numbers bear that out, rick. there s 7.3 million job openings in the most recent report. that was about a million more people than were unemployed. so it s a record number. the largest number on record of job openings. people can t find folks to fill those jobs. i talk to people in business
states, if mueller finds information out that says this, absolutely the attorney general, here barr, has the discretion to turn the report over the congress. indeed, he has to. the overall intent of the regulations that s said time and time again is public confidence in the administration of justice. and any sort of suppressed report of presidential wrong doing will flunk that test. let me read part two. it s barr to congress. it says this, the attorney general will notify the chairman and ranking minority member of the judiciary committees of each house of congress with an explanation upon conclusion of the special counsel s investigation. an explanation. that could be anything. how do you think bill barr will interpret that? it s an interesting conflict potentially between the plain language of the regulations and the intent of the framer here. who sees a little more in it maybe than the plain language. i think barr has great
republic, shaped by law and history. so what can we say about the mandate given to congress under which it can impeach a president? in other words, what are high crimes and misdemeanors? high crimes and misdemeanors, the phrase used in the constitution has a very specific concrete meaning. high means pertaining to high office. if your crime or misdemeanor has nothing to do with your office, you re not really covered by the framer s idea of impeachment. if you look carefully at the reasoning of republicans and democrats who have voted for impeachment over the course of our history, you ll notice they always come back to the idea that some action or some pattern of conduct by the chief executive represents a threat to our democracy and our constitution. one of the questions we must all wonder about is why is it we hear so much talk about impeachment these days? bush, obama and now trump.
