Going Green in Retirement

Sponsored content Known for its beautiful gardens, scenic pathways and tree-lined landscapes, Foxdale Village Retirement Community offers a tranquil brush with nature around every corner. That’s why, for nearly three decades, our residents, staff and community partners have made true sustainability of natural resources a top priority, not just for ourselves, but for the broader community around us and for the generations still to come. Foxdale Recycles At Foxdale Village, we take recycling very seriously. In 2017, Foxdale Village recycled more than 57,000 pounds of paper – enough to save more than 194,000 gallons of water and 476 trees.  But we didn’t stop there. We also recycled 4,940 pounds of metals, 7,030 pounds of plastic, and 8,680 pounds of glass. It’s dedication like this that helped Foxdale become a Centre County Green Business Partner Emerald Award recipient.
