Faced with overcrowded elementary schools, St. Charles Unit District 303 school board members voted unanimously Wednesday to repurpose elementary school facilities.
Administrators in St. Charles Unit District 303 are considering repurposing two schools to combat overcrowding and to comply with newly identified space standards in a districtwide facilities master plan.

St. Charles Unit District 303 is conducting online lottery registration for its Community Preschool Program from Jan. 19 through Feb. 2. Visit district.d303.org. Please note that survey will not be live until Jan. 19.
For the 2021-2022 school year, District 303 is offering a five-day-a-week, half-day, morning or afternoon preschool program at Fox Ridge Early Childhood Center.
The program is open to children who reside within the District 303 school boundaries, are between the ages of 3 and 5 years old and are not eligible for kindergarten.
The preschool fee for the program is $285 per month. A $100 annual nonrefundable registration and materials fee will also be required. (Note: Monthly fees and registration/materials fee are pending school board approval.)
