[ applause ] a vigil was held in the officer s honor, a hero s funeral. but behind the scenes there were red flags. gliniewicz never gave a specific description of the men he was chasing. just after a couple days you had some of the federal law enforcement agencies pulling out of the command posts. so i think the word was getting around that there are no suspects. gliniewicz had been shot twice, once in his bullet proof vest and fatal shot to his torso. the bullets came from his own weapon, which was found less than three feet from his head. today, fox lake investigators admitted there were no signs of a struggle at the scene and are now left defending themselves. our intention was never to mislead the public. we completely believe from day one that this was a homicide. a statement from the gliniewicz family says it s been cooperating with the investigation and will not comment at this time.
