democratic senator. peter? we had a chance to look at some of these polls and bring them to the briefing room. exactly thinks the president is doing a good job on inflation? we ve got a new poll that find he receives his lowest job ratings on inflation. that negative 38 points. we understand there s challenges that are in front of us here in this country that is why the president has taken action to lower costs. you know what though? even though it s his top domestic priority and he has low marks, president biden s job performance is at its highest since january. he ticked up to 46% approving compared to 53% disapproving. on the poll that i asked the press secretary about, on the economy broadly, 35% approval for the president and inflation specifically 29% positive compared to 67% negative. the president a few minutes ago came out to try to tout his administration s efforts that are currently held up in court to forgive a lot of student loan debt. trying to do ever
