First Alert AccuTrack Satellite and Radar is showing increasing coverage of showers across parts of north and east Alabama. Showers are generally drifting to the west-northwest producing steady rainfall, reduced visibility, and wet roadways.
High pressure will build in from the east resulting in cooler temperatures overnight, especially in northeast Alabama in advance of another disturbance approaching from the west.
First Alert for patchy fog this morning. Visibility could be reduced to a quarter of a mile or less. Any fog that develops this morning should dissipate by 9 a.m.
