bret: you saw chuck schumer saying that fox should say don t put tucker on the air another night. you saw different commentary shows, whoopi goldberg and others saying all kinds of things should happen. what is your reaction to all of this and the fallout from it. what strikes me about this is what a poor job the january 6th committee did. they had access to all of this information and they were very, very, very selective in what they presented and they had a committee that was composed entirely of people chosen by nancy pelosi or approved of by nancy pelosi. the republicans didn t really have a say on that committee. and no one on that committee did any serious cross-examination, nor did the any members of that committee insist on the videotape that we have been seeing from tucker carlson being aired as part of what the committee was doing. tucker was able to construct an entirely different narrative from that which was presented by the committee. all of this would have been unnec

heavy rain and flooding, can killing at least 13 people and injuring several others n. kentucky the governor declared a state of emergency after several tornadoes ouched down leaving loads touched down, and in tennessee storms flooded the area including this bridge in a state park. thousands are without power as winds up to 79 miles per hour were reported in the state. let s turn now to chief meteorologist rick reichmuth for our fox weather forecast. rick: i tell you, it was such a rough few days, but the temps are better. it s been so hot across parts of the south, and at least weather wise for the next 2-3 days, we re good. rain comes back by the time we get towards wednesday. temperatures into the 70s across parts of the south. upper 80s in florida, origin the 88 in tampa. we re in the 80s all throughout texas. you notice these warm temperatures, we stay that way into tuesday and then we start to see that next system that comes in, and that s going to bring rain wednesday into
