The chairman of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA), Geoffrey Roach wants to see improved relations between labour and employers in the tourism sector.
Roach made reference to the ongoing labour disputes with some establishments in the sector during his feature address at the Fourth Quarterly Meeting of the BHTA earlier this week.
The BHTA chair stated that the ongoing disputes were related to a small fraction of tourism operators. Roach call on operators to communicate with their staff and come to amicable solutions as the sector remains in plateau during the pandemic.
