Pastry chef Bianca Montijo, who's spent the last year and change making fancy confections and desserts for special events at the Chase Center and the VIP viewing suites, is the force behind a new dessert bar that will be open to the public this fall as the Chase Center reopens for real.

As explained by in-house marine biologist Benjawan Sansittisakunlird, the aim of the project was to rehabilitate the ailing condition of coral reefs along the coast. These organisms are very sensitive to their environment and due to human-made changes like pollution, coral bleaching has become a widespread phenomenon. Today, 16,000 corals have been replanted and you can witness these beautiful aquatic beings at their finest in the resort s vicinity.
