One of the qualities that makes El Dorado so special is the collection of locally owned businesses that create a destination for visitors adding to the ambience of the downtown area. Today, we head downtown to catch up with a coffee enthusiast whose passion is getting noticed in a big way by the community.
The Christmas Craft Fair at Healthworks Fitness on Saturday attracted some of El Dorado and Union County s most talented craftspeople and gave them an opportunity to sell their wares or, in a few cases, raise money for a good cause.
The 2023 El Dorado Food Festival got underway on Sept. 1 and foodies from El Dorado and beyond are invited to participate in support of local eateries and to win prizes.
Rain or shine, the show will go on today for the May on Main festival, which will kick off at 11 a.m. today in downtown El Dorado and will be held in conjunction with the Mayhaw Festival, which starts at 8 a.m. two blocks away near the Newton House Museum, 510 N. Jackson Ave.
