Ridgefield residents and business owners are invited to enter the contest by November 21 and decorate the exterior of their locations with holiday lights no later than December 4.

Light Fight in Ridgefield Starts Tomorrow!

Written by Founders Hall The Founders Hall-iday Light Fight, a new holiday decorating contest, starts tomorrow, Thursday, December 10. Thirty-two competitors have decorated their homes or business to raise money for Founders Hall programs and help seniors stay connected during the dark days of the pandemic. Like many other things in 2020, the pandemic forced Founders Hall to cancel all in-person fundraisers. So this is the only Founders Hall fundraising event of the year. It is socially-distant, and you can participate from the warmth of your car or your home. Let s not let the pandemic take everything away! This link is the list of participating addresses. Online voting will open on December 10 at 6:00 pm. Print it out and put it in your car; it has spaces where you can jot down your thoughts and impressions of each light display. Or, open it on your phone.
