We can prevent cervical cancer by two methods; when people take the vaccine to prevent the virus from coming into contact with them or to go for screening. Nigeria has very limited capacity to manage cervical cancer. Most patients present with cervical cancer in advanced stages where surgery can no longer be done for them.
