If a stranger offered to cook you a homemade meal and deliver it for a donation, would you try it?
For Newton native Julian Cohen, so many people eagerly responded to his offer on a neighborhood website, he ultimately decided to create his first business.
“The response was really exciting,” said the cooking enthusiast.
The Newton North graduate took a chance by starting a food business in the midst of the COVID pandemic, even as other purveyors continue to suffer financial losses.
Cohen recently said he wanted to use his “passion for home cooking … and see if I could bring those home-cooked meals to more people.”
